1. Overview This Privacy Policy explains what information Brave Defiance Consulting, LLC collects through this website, how it’s used, and your choices. It applies to this website only — not to the secure client portal used for scheduling and clinical intake (see Section 4).

Information We Collect Information you provide: when you submit the contact form, we collect your name, email, phone number, city/state, organization name (if applicable), the services you’re inquiring about, your timeframe, and your message. Submissions are stored in our website’s database and emailed to our team, along with the IP address associated with the submission (used for spam prevention). Information collected automatically: basic technical information collected by our hosting provider for security and site performance (e.g., server logs). Google Search Console: we use Google Search Console to monitor how this site performs in search results. It does not track individual visitors or set advertising cookies.

3. Cookies & Tracking This site does not currently run analytics tags (such as Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager), advertising pixels, or retargeting cookies. It uses only the minimal, functional cookies required for the website and contact form to work (e.g., WordPress session cookies). This policy will be updated if that changes.

4. Health Information & HIPAA This website’s general contact form is intended for organizational inquiries and runs on standard website hosting — it is not a HIPAA-compliant system and should not be used to share health information. Scheduling, intake, and any protected health information (PHI) are handled exclusively through our secure client portal, which operates under its own privacy and security practices and our separate HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices, provided directly to clients.

5. How We Use Your Information To respond to inquiries, schedule consultations, and maintain internal business records. We do not sell your information.

6. Third-Party Service Providers We share information only with service providers necessary to operate the site and business — our web hosting provider, email delivery, and (for scheduling) our client portal provider — or as required by law.

7. Advertising This site does not currently run paid advertising or ad-tracking pixels.

8. Data Retention & Security We retain inquiry information as long as reasonably necessary for business and legal purposes, and take reasonable measures to protect it. No online transmission is completely secure.

9. Children’s Privacy This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
